I am an author and designer based in Paris.

I am a Vietnamese Canadian who grew up in Toronto. I started writing my first novel, "The Saigon Wedding," in 2015. I wrote part-time while working full-time as a designer.

At the time, I was consuming a lot of mysteries in novels, television, and podcasts. Netflix had made global content more accessible, and I was binging on Korean and Chinese dramas. I wanted to see more Asian stories and thought I would write one.

I am very happy to have completed a novel, especially as someone who used to struggle with writing. Now embarking on this career, I am both hopeful and nervous.

I haven't retired from design, but since moving to Paris, France, it's been put on pause. When the novel was ready to be published, I returned to design for the book's design, branding, and website.
